OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE
Alex and David went to Front Range community college in fort Collins, Colorado. We were in all the welding classes. One day we both started talking to each other in each class since we had blue print reading and math together as well as all the in shop welding. David noticed Alex attitude; it was a positive attitude all the time. Even if a weld wasn’t to Alex standards he just had a good grind attitude and got it to his standards. David and Alex got along very well and at the time. Alex was doing side welding jobs after school and David was also doing welding jobs to get extra experience. One day David needed a helping hand on a project and it was one of his first hand railing job for a customer. David called Alex and asked for him to help install these railings with him, so we did and got the job done correctly and smoothly. Shortly after doing that railing job, we sat down and talked about our life goals and how we could reach them. We were brain storming to the max! As we started talking about joining as a team to reach our goals sooner and so we did. We took the steps to get insured and have the money each month to pay for our tools and shop space. It took us 2 months to figure out our name which is called “DNA Welding and Fabrication.” Human DNA has around 3 billion bases, and more than 99 percent of those bases are the same in all people, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). That being said we are different on the outside but in the inside we are reaching for the same goals. Goals to help people around the world, to take pride in what we make for others, and to be safe in our surroundings. We are still a team every day and we are learning something new every day!
